Bio

McKraeMcKrae is the Founder and Executive Director of Truth Ministry. Truth Ministry was founded in 1999.

McKrae is the Founder and President of the Hope for Wholeness Network.  HFWN was founded in 2013, as a ministry of Truth Ministries, Inc., which was also founded by McKrae in 1999.  Truth Ministry had been a ministry of Exodus International, until its closing, where McKrae served as a nationally known and active leader.

McKrae is an ordained Southern Baptist minister; he was ordained by his home church, First Baptist North Spartanburg, specifically to work in ministry with those affected by same-sex attractions.

He shares his beliefs on the causes of homosexuality, from the approach of someone with same-sex attractions now living a biblical standard.  When he was younger, he lived as a gay man for over three years.

McKrae is also the Executive Producer of Hope For Wholeness, a ground-breaking video series and workbook curriculum for those seeking freedom from homosexuality. McKrae and his wife, Julie, were married in 1996 and are the proud parents of a son and daughter. They make their home in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

McKrae counsels men (teens and up), families, wives of strugglers & couples, pastors seeking counsel for their church, as well as mentoring up and coming ministry leaders.  He is available for media and speaking engagements.

In his spare time he enjoys riding bikes with his family; and loves simply spending time with his best friend and wife, Julie, and his children Seth & Caroline.
